Registering with DASS

What does registering with the Disability Advisory and Support Service mean (and not mean)?

If you would like to receive disability support on your course, you will need to register with the Disability Advisory and Support Service. Registering means filling in this registration form and providing evidence. These are needed to start off the process of accessing your support.

We won’t tell anybody about you contacting or registering with us, unless you give us permission to.

If you do want support, we may have to tell some people to be able to put it in place, but only with your consent.

You can find out more about how we process your data on our data collection notice.

If you register with the Disability Advisory and Support Service, this won’t be added to your degree certificate, and we won’t tell your future employers. By filling in the Disability Advisory and Support Service registration form you are not ‘registered disabled’. Your information is always confidential.

How do I register?

In order to register, you will need to complete a Disability Advisory and Support Service registration form and provide evidence of your disability.

Getting the form back to us

You can return the form to us either by e-mailing it, posting it, or bringing the form to our office, along with some evidence of your disability.
